Macroburst was at one point the sidekick of Everseer, who referred to him as "The Kid", before taking on a superhero career of his own. Macroburst was also known for constantly and obsessively maintaining his hairstyle.

Macroburst was the first Super to score a victory over an Omnidroid, defeating the Omnidroid v.X1 during the training sessions for Operation Kronos. Unfortunately, he was killed by the successor to the v.X1, the Omnidroid v.X2. The Operation Kronos database assigned him a threat rating of 5.9.

Personality[]

Macroburst was androgynous and of ambiguous gender, and had an obsession with maintaining his hair due to the constant wind disruption. Macroburst was also a sufferer of claustrophobia.

Powers and Abilities[]

"High velocity wind generation saved Macroburst from many foes. But not from the Omnidroid."
—Top Trumps: The Incredibles
  • Wind Generation: Macroburst possessed the ability to generate high velocity wind, which also gave him the ability to fly via wind propulsion.
  • Aerokinetic Flight - Macroburst could fly using the wind - a difference of flight with the wind. He could also levitate in a similar manner to Apogee, though not as steadily.
  • Superhuman Endurance: Macroburst’s NSA file showed that he possessed high levels of endurance, allowing him to perform heroics for long periods of time without getting tired.
  • Superhuman Agility: Macroburst’s NSA file showed that he possessed some level of superhuman agility.

Weaknesses[]

  • Claustrophobia - Macroburst suffered from a clinical fear of small and closed-in spaces.

Trivia[]

  • Macroburst was listed on the Operation Kronos database as 'He/Her,' making his gender at the time unknown, due to never having a specific speaking role in the first film, only appearing in a black-and-white still frame.
  • While their gender was initially unknown, Macroburst was later confirmed in LEGO The Incredibles to be a male, where he served as one of the game’s playable characters.
  • It was never fully determined on why Syndrome chose to list Macroburst as a Him/Her, but it could have been possible, that Syndrome might have done this either as a gag to make fun of the Hero, or he just didn't have enough respect to reveal him by his true gender. Though it was also possible, that Pixar chose to do this on purpose, in an attempt to have fans use their imaginations on what they might have thought of Macroburst, before 2018, and revealing it to everyone through the Legos Incredible video game, finally bringing an end to the Macroburst Gender mystery that lasted from 2004 all the way to 2018.
