The Parr Family Mansion is a mansion featured in Incredibles 2, given to the Parr family by Winston Deavor during his campaign to legalize Supers. It is unclear if they were to stay at the mansion after the events of the second film, however in the episodes “Chore Day - The Incredible Way” and “Cookie Num Num” of the Pixar Popcorn series, the Parrs are seen in the mansion enjoying normal family activities, so it can be assumed they continued living there after the end of the film.

Layout[]

It is a massive cliffside mansion integrated underneath a waterfall. Superficially, it is nearly 20,000 square feet with a single roof, floor-to-ceiling windows and ceiling windows, indoor rock formations, a single grand room and fireplace, and a bright yellow kitchen next to it. The stairs lead to a second floor, where four bedrooms and four bathrooms can be found. Underneath the mansion is a den, garage and pools that can be viewed underneath the grand room. Outside of the house is a large yard and patio, and an infinity pool that serves as the den's ceiling. It also contains remote-control features, surveillance systems and several hidden entrances.

Appearances in Incredibles 2[]

After the Parrs are contacted by Winston as part of his super legalization campaign, he lets them reside in the mansion, enabling the family to relocate from the motel. The family is very impressed with the mansion, being in awe of its size and features, though Violet sarcastically points out how the mansion stands out. Elastigirl departs from the mansion on her Elasticycle for her first mission and stays in New Urbem afterward, away from her family.

The rest of the family are seen having breakfast in the kitchen area the following morning. Later, Bob has to deal with the problems that each of his children face. The next day, the family are again seen at breakfast, where Violet finds out about Tony Rydinger's memory wipe and throws a violent tantrum. Lucius is called over when Bob starts to encounter difficulty dealing with Jack-Jack's powers, which Violet and Dash have only just found out about. Bob leaves with Jack-Jack for Edna Mode's mansion to seek help from her. When Bob gets back, he has a heartfelt conversation with Violet, who tells him he is 'super', though he falls asleep before hearing her. Bob wakes up 17 hours later, and heads back to Edna's to pick up Jack-Jack.

Back at the mansion, he demonstrates Jack-Jack's powers, to his elder children, but is soon called by Evelyn, who claims Elastigirl needs help. Bob calls Lucius and asks him to babysit the kids, however, Lucius is beaten to the mansion by the hypnotized wannabe supers. Lucius helps the kids fend them off but is hypnotised himself. The kids escape in the Incredibile, and the mansion is not seen for the rest of the film.

Trivia[]

  • The Parr Family Residence in Incredibles 2 is closely based on Tony Stark's mansion in the movie Iron Man, which itself is a real-world mansion. This also fits with Winston Deavor commenting on its former owner being an eccentric billionaire who liked to come and go without being seen.
